Torri Blue (published: t.r.h. blue) is a poet, writer, lyricist, and founder of notesontheway, a small custom poetry and art business. Her poems have made their way around the globe, and hang on the walls of actors, authors, and activists. Her poetry orbits themes of nature, divinity, mortality, and queer motherhood. Her research is on the intersection of autistic poetics, ecological ethics, and the poetry of Mary Oliver.

Beyond Blue’s wide circulation online, her work’s appeared in the award-winning Michigan Jewish History Journal, and two of her poems have been set for choirs. "If My Love Is Too Great," composed by Paul Langford, was published by Hal Leonard. The other, “Go on child,” won composer Harry Castle the University of Michigan’s esteemed 2022 Brehm Prize in Choral Composition. Blue’s newsletter, The Daylily, ranks in the top 100 in literature on Substack.
